it is final!

Jaxson’s adoption finalization occurred May 6th. It was incredibly awesome and emotional. I began crying just listening to our lawyer ask Matt is it indeed was his intention to adopt Jaxson. I did pull myself together so I could also identify myself and answer the questions. It was a conference call with the judge & lawyer. We are thankful that we didn’t have to travel back to Jacksonville b/c the call itself lasted maybe 5 minutes. We met at our pastor’s house with him & his wife and 2 other couples from church. We received the court order in the mail yesterday. This was the document that the judge signed that makes the adoption final. It was so incredible to see the words stating that Jaxson is indeed Jaxson Robert Benke and is our son and our heir as if he were born naturally into our family. Wow!

I love quotes.
